No Wobble. Engineered in.

We’ve all experienced it — a unit that moves every time you touch it.

In cafés, restaurants, even within our own homes. It shouldn't happen — especially not on a premium piece.

“This has always irritated me — and it’s something we set out to eliminate entirely.”

— Frankie Canterbury, Founder

At Craft Co, stability is engineered into every table, not added as an afterthought.

We address movement at multiple points within the structure.

Vibration Control

A key element is the integration of a 1mm Neoprene rubber layer within the joint system, acting as a vibration dampener between materials. This reduces micro-movement over time and helps maintain a solid feel even after prolonged use.

With this in place, force is transferred through the structure rather than absorbed as flex — creating a solid, grounded feel, as if the legs and tabletop form one unified component.

We are one of very few providers that integrate vibration control into our products, others often overlook this in cost-saving efforts

Reinforced Joint Design

Structural fatigue is prevented through reinforced joint construction. Load is distributed across an increased number of fixings, reducing stress on any single point. We use high-grade 304 stainless steel fixings with locking mechanisms to prevent loosening over time — avoiding the long-term wear commonly seen with lower-grade materials.

Other table manufacturers typically use Aluminium fixings or at best a lower-grade stainless steel in hopes of cost savings, whether your next purchase is with us or not, this is an important factor to consider when comparing different pricing bands. We strive to provide the best of the best amongst the wider market.

Moisture and Material Protection

Moisture exposure is also controlled during construction to prevent internal degradation, while still allowing the timber to behave naturally. Our 304 Stainless Steel fixings, were chosen for their strong resistance to corrosion and long-term structural reliability within the finished product.

Built for Seasonal Movement

Temperature fluctuations cause natural expansion and contraction in timber. We account for this during the build process using compounded thread-locking within the joints - maintaining rigidity without restricting the wood’s natural movement. Overall, this helps prevent micro-cracking and long-term structural fatigue.

Real-World Tested

Our display table has been used daily— not in a showroom, but in real-world conditions for a solid 6+ months.

No measurable movement. No structural fatigue. No repairs required.

It feels exactly as it did the day it was built, maintaining the same robust feel and finish.

The table shown beside this text reflects its real condition after 6 months of daily usage, photographed in natural light. Our test table was used under harsher conditions against our usage specifications, (e.g Natural Slate coasters) only minimal surface marking is visible upon very close inspection.
